How does it work?
Our Q-switched lasers are finely tuned to target specific wavelengths of color etched on the upper dermis of the skin. The laser beam interacts with the ink, breaking it down into small particles bit by bit., thus allowing the body to then absorb the colors. No color is too challenging for us to remove!
What does it cost?
Depending on color and size, tattoo removals can take multiple treatment sessions to remove. Each session can vary from $200 to $500. Once we’ve seen what we’re working with, we can better determine an estimated price for you.
Who is a good candidate?
There are a number of factors that are standard for easy tattoo removal:
- Health. If you’re healthy, your body’s immune system will be able to remove the ink toxins quicker and more efficiently. Your food choices, level of physical activity, and whether or not you smoke can greatly influence this factor.
- Fair Skin. Those with dark skin can potentially experience lightening or darkening skin around the treated areas. We take great care to keep this from happening, which could potentially lead to longer session times as a result if there’s a smaller difference between the pigments and your skin.
- Tattoo Type. The age, color, and size of the tattoo can all add or subtract from the time and ease of tattoo removal.
